The CLB-4 is a four-round bomb carrier and ejector pylon used on the Dassault Mirage F1 fighter aircraft. It allows the aircraft to carry and independently drop multiple bombs from a single under-belly weapon station. Supplied with four (4) Mk81 120kg bombs fitted with Limbo fuses.
This weapon carrier was frequently used by South African Air Force Dassault Mirage F1s between 1978 and 1988 while flying operations over Angola during the "Border War". The SAAF used Limbo fuses as specialised airburst fusing mechanisms for low-drag pre-fragmented bombs during these operations.
